Making Your First Trade

Coin App's integration with Coinbase allows you to buy tokens directly using your Coinbase funds:

No Pre-funding Required: Use ETH from your Coinbase account without transferring it first
Seamless Experience: Everything happens within Coin App - no need to switch between apps
Automatic Gas Handling: Gas fees are covered by your Coinbase balance
One-Click Authorization: Simply approve the transaction through Coinbase to execute trades

Navigate to Trade:
- Open Coin App
- Tap the "Trade" tab in the navigation bar
Browse Token Categories:
- Choose from multiple categories:
  - Top Gainers & Losers
  - Major Tokens
  - Stablecoins
  - Memecoins
  - AI Tokens
  - DeFi Projects
  - Real World Assets (RWA)
  - GameFi Tokens

Select Token:
- Tap on your chosen token
- Review key information:
  - Price chart
  - Market statistics
  - Trading volume
  - Recent activity

Start Purchase:
- Tap the "Buy" button
- Enter amount in USD
- Review the quote details:
  - Token amount you'll receive
  - Exchange rate
  - Fees
  - Estimated total
Confirm Trade:
- Tap "Swap" to proceed
- Smart Wallet popup will appear
- Select "Pay with Coinbase"
Coinbase Authorization:
- Sign in to Coinbase if prompted
- First-time users:
  - Link Coinbase account to Smart Wallet
  - Authorize connection
- Review final transaction details
Complete Trade:
- Confirm the transaction
- Wait for transaction confirmation
